Bronny James Scores First NBA Basket in Lakers’ Loss to Cavaliers

Bronny James scored his first NBA points for the Los Angeles Lakers in a 134-110 defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Evan Mobley scored 25 points and Donovan Mitchell added 24, helping the Cavaliers secure their best season start since 2016-17 with five consecutive wins.

LeBron James, at 39, and his 20-year-old son Bronny recently made history as the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game during the Lakers’ season opener. Reflecting on his debut, Bronny said, “It was insane. Much more than I anticipated… It felt pretty good, especially coming from here.” LeBron expressed pride, calling his son’s first NBA basket “an unbelievable moment.”

Bronny scored his first points on a 14-foot jumper over Tristan Thompson and finished with an attempt at a three-pointer. LeBron closed the game with 26 points, six rebounds, and six turnovers.
