Lakers Triumph Over Kings, Kevin Durant Reaches New Milestone, and Celtics Rally to Victory

LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the Los Angeles Lakers to a thrilling 131-127 win over the  Sacramento Kings, pushing the Lakers to a 3-0 record to start the season. The Lakers built a solid lead, going into halftime up 64-60 at the Crypto.com Arena. Although the Kings rallied in the third, leading 94-87, the Lakers stormed back with a 21-0 run, powered by 16 points from James in the fourth quarter alone.

Davis finished with 31 points, becoming the first Laker since Kobe Bryant (2005-06) to score at least 30 points in each of the first three games of a season. James added a triple-double with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Kings’ **Domantas Sabonis** led his team with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists, while De’Aaron Fox contributed 28 points and 10 assists.

Elsewhere, Kevin Durant reached a major career milestone by surpassing 29,000 points, becoming only the eighth player in NBA history to do so. The Phoenix Suns’ star scored 31 points in their 114-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Boston Celtics, reigning champions, overcame a late deficit to beat the Detroit Pistons 124-118, marking the Pistons’ third loss. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics’ charge with 37 points, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points, sealing the victory in the final minutes.
